Pamela Wright is a Member of 缅北禁地 Board. She has extensive and highly successful experience in senior leadership, including headship in both secondary and primary education. Previously she was Executive Principal of Wade Deacon High School leading it to an outstanding Ofsted judgement. During her leadership the school was also the Times Educational Supplement Outstanding Secondary School of the Year.As the founding Chief Executive Officer Pamela was instrumental in setting up 缅北禁地.
Pamela was previously a National Leader of Education working to bring about the rapid improvement of schools in special measures. Her experience in system leadership is extensive, supporting many different types of school across the UK, particularly in North West England.
She has first-hand experience of developing multi academy trusts in areas of high deprivation or with schools in challenging circumstances. In addition, she has experience of advising school trusts in aspects such as school improvement, senior appointments, CEO support and appraisal.
Pamela is passionate about ensuring that every child has the opportunity to gain the best possible education. She has experience as a British Council International Leadership Consultant facilitating training across the world. Her areas of particular expertise are leadership in education, effective training practices, coaching, strategies to improve learning and teaching, school improvement and collaborative working practices.
She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and was awarded Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2011 New Year Honours list. Pamela is a board member of the Confederation of School 缅北禁地s and the National Teacher.
